I am SOOO happy to share with you my 3rd Paintbrush Studio Fabrics collection called..."9 to 5"! These 13 prints (and one panel) were designed and inspired from my very own rotary phone, typewriter, time clock, coffee mugs and pencils! So pour yourself a cup of ambition! Punch in! Sharpen your pencils! Type up those documents! Make those calls... but don't forget to have a coffee break in the lunchroom... and then watch the clock until the work day is done!
Then it's time to play! Sew all the things to keep yourself organized: bags, boxes, iPad covers, pencil cases, zippy pouches and sewing kits! Then afterwards, whip up some super cute outfits to work in... I mean, that's what Dolly would do RIGHT?! Wink!
This retro, made modern, collection is not only about all things found in a retro office, but it's also about the women who were the glue that held it all together, like my mom! Her name starts with an A and it wasn’t by accident it ended up smack dab in the middle of the panel! You’ll notice that most of these illustrations are from the panel, except for Dolly and the typewriter with the “What would Dolly Do?”. I made those into promo stickers to send out to stores! Personally I can't wait to sew with this collection but I’m especially excited to share with you the line up of makers who are joining in the fabric launch sewing party! It's appropriately called "Clock Watching"!...because she's brilliant! All these ladies are and I adore every one of them!!!
